Communication barrier on plantation

When slaves were brought to the colonies, most spoke different languages. Before arriving the colonies, slavers made sure that they sectioned the slaves a a manner that each person was unable to communicate with another because of language barriers.

Slaves started to use music a way to rid of their differences and fix language barriers.
